About Nxpacker
Helping businesses grow sustainably
Within the operational chain of a logistics distribution center, the packaging segment occupies a pivotal role, bridging upstream order processing with downstream sorting and dispatch. However, this segment has traditionally been constrained by factors such as significant order volume fluctuations, complex product categorizations, and non-standardized packaging specifications. These constraints have resulted in a prolonged reliance on manual labor, leading to sustained high operational costs, constrained efficiency, and inconsistent delivery timelines. This reliance has consequently established packaging as a critical bottleneck hindering the enhancement of overall operational productivity.
In direct response to these challenges, the automated packaging station system aims to methodically reduce both labor and material inputs in the packaging process. Simultaneously, it seeks to improve the consistency of processing times and the reliability of order fulfillment at the final delivery stage.

2018
Our first steps
Simon Chan possesses over two decades of extensive industry experience in eco-friendly packaging materials and compact equipment.
Anticipating the rapid growth in demand for handling diverse e-commerce parcels, he recognized as early as 2018 the necessity for automation. This foresight was driven by the labor-intensive nature of packaging tasks, the growing challenge of attracting and retaining a younger workforce, and increasing recruitment difficulties. Consequently, he identified robotics and automation as an inevitable strategic direction.
Under his guidance, NxPacker spearheaded the planning and development of an integrated intelligent packaging system. This system seamlessly integrates core technologies including 3D vision-based recognition, adaptive robotic grasping for irregular items, and automatic dispensing of eco-friendly fill materials. Its objective is to achieve comprehensive automation and flexible adaptation across the entire packaging workflow.

2022
Project formally commenced its proof-of-concept phase
A dedicated technical team, comprising professionals with interdisciplinary expertise and practical engineering experience, assumed full responsibility for system design, R&D, on-site deployment, and the creation of engineering prototypes.

2025
Germany FACHPACK 2025 trade fair
By early 2025, the first-generation system, designated IPS100, had completed its holistic design, detailed drafting, assembly, electrical integration, and commissioning. It was subsequently presented at the FACHPACK 2025 trade fair in Nuremberg, Germany.
